Get a Grant

Let's strengthen our community together.

The Fayette County Foundation’s mission is to promote positive and sustainable change in our community by developing assets that will be available in perpetuity to energize and nourish endeavors that seek to impact. Find out what we do and do not fund.

Who may apply

Nonprofit organizations and nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations, coalitions, community associations, and other civic groups may apply to provide services in Fayette County, Indiana. Organizations seeking funding for food pantry support should first contact the Foundation. Make sure to review our entire Grant Policy.

Grant application process

Every grant request begins with a Letter of Intent (LOI). Do you have an idea that can help us meet the needs of Fayette County? That’s great! First, please read above to see if your organization is eligible for funding. Make sure you have read our Grant Policy BEFORE submitting an LOI. If everything still looks good, complete our Letter of Intent Form.

Then, email (no printed copies will be accepted!) your LOI to Maureen Feltz at mfeltz@givetofcf.com. Once the LOI is submitted, the Grant Committee will review your request and let you know if your grant request is viable. If so, a grant application will be sent to you via email. If not, we’ll let you know that as well.
